Synopsis: Ashleigh loves her boyfriend Kaleb. Problem is he’s going away to college. To make sure he won’t forget her while he’s away, Ashleigh sends him a picture that is 100% unforgettable. Little did she know just how unforgettable it would become.
Characters: The author did a great job expressing Ashleigh’s feelings. At some parts of the book you just want to crawl in a hole and die for her. The only problem I had was that I didn’t feel like there was anything unique about her. She was just another athletic, pretty teenage character.
Action: Just like any realistic fiction book there was no real action but the plot was interesting. I liked the way the author slowly revealed all the details and kept you guessing.
Romance: Jennifer Brown kept with her theme of romance gone wrong with this book. Part of the reason I like her writing is because her books show the true reality of relationships. They aren’t all flowers and sunshine, they don’t always last and people hold grudges. Same goes for this book.
Overall: Overall this was a good book with a situation and topic that is very relevant to today. I would recommend it to those who like realistic fiction.
