I’m absolutely in love with this book. I love books that are in the tradition of Go Ask Alice because of the raw ,personal feel they have and this one wasn’t any different. The progression of the book was phenomenal. We were able to see into his personal thoughts a he slowly realized that he was gay and as he struggled with it and then as he finally accepted it. It was just amazingly well done. I loved that this book dealt with the issue of acceptance and that it conveyed the message that you are who you are and the people that truly care about you will accept that. I also liked that it conveyed that coming to terms with who you are isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. I would definitely recommend this book to mature readers.
