Synopsis: Hopes life is turned upside down when her older sister Lizzie attempts suicide. Lizzie is an elective mute and only Hope knows why Lizzie tried to kill herself. In this novel written in verse Hope will give you a glimpse.

This book was powerful. And It’s written in my favorite style which made it even better. There’s nothing I love more that books about difficult issues so I’ve read a lot but this book shocked even me. Mostly because I wasn’t expecting the reason behinds Lizzie’s attempted suicide, because it’s just that bad. This book was was basically Hope telling about things that have happened until it finally all comes together and you realize the reality of the situation and let me tell you it’s not pretty. I loved this book because it was gritty and raw and powerful and I would recommend it, but only to mature readers.
