Rachel is your average high school tennager. One day, while at the mall she sneaks a picture of her crush Kyle working. Rachel has good intentions when she “flits” the picture to her best friend Mo. When Mo shares it, the picture blows up all over social media and nothing will be normal ever again.
I really only liked this book because of the plot. It sounded like the book was going to be awesome, but it fell flat. It was hilarious at some points throughout the book though so that’s what really saved this book. I would recommend this to anyone who likes funny books or fiction. I thought the characters were okay, but they weren’t fantastic.I didn’t really like Rachel all that much but I also did (so I guess I loved and hated her if that makes any sense?)She seemed more like a flat character than one of the main ones. I thought Kyle was an okay character. He seemed kind of dull. Honestly, the character I liked the most was Mo. She seemed like the most dynamic character. The writing wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t descriptive enough.
I also felt that the reading level was more for middle schoolers than teens. It was written too simply is what I’m trying to say. Overall, this book just didn’t hit the mark this time. I would give it a 4/10 on a scale of 0-10.
